Jennifer has close to twenty-five years experience in television production for CBC Television, for the University of Saskatchewan, and as a freelancer.
During her CBC career alone, for CBC Television in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Jennifer interviewed and produced feature stories on people from all walks of life, from eminent Canadian cultural figures like singer-songwriter Jann Arden, writer Guy Vanderhaeghe, and abstract painter William Perehudoff, to Hollywood movie stars like Meg Ryan, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Christopher Reeve. She’s also talked to ranchers, outdoor enthusiasts, home-based artisans, and collectors crazy for everything from dolls to barbed wire.
Also, for the University of Saskatchewan, Jennifer produced a video series to profile the fascinating lives and work of leading researchers and synchrotron scientists. A basic Personal History Video interview package includes:
- pre-interview session to develop the focus and overall approach for the interview
- one-hour video interview, shot in full HD video with top quality sound and lighting
- post-production editing work that may also include other visuals such as family photographs
- finished product delivery in mutually agreed upon format, such as digital file, DVD, YouTube
